WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, AND WHY

HISTORY (From the Founder):
She was my first car, my first love, and my very first mustang. Her name was Linda (pictured above) and she was a Black '91 5.0 LX HB Beauty! I had her for 9 loving years. Bought in July of 1996 for $6,500 with 60,000 miles. She came with that 302 growl-B303 cam, 70mm TB, ported stock intake, BBK headers & off H-pipe, Flowmasters, Nitrous 150 lb big shot, Hurst short throw, 3.73s, alum Driveshaft, Chrome Ponies, lowered springs, etc.

Linda survived three accidents-one major-lasted me through 5 years of college, 9 cold winters, and 7 changes of residence.

My second year of college, the rear started to leak fluid. Shortly thereafter it would empty in a day after refill, so I let it dry up and decided to drive her into the ground. I drove her daily, commuting to college and part-time jobs. Linda never left me stranded. She lasted 4 years in this condition until I replaced her rear and axles--always with the chrome ponies though! Every morning that I commuted to college I promised to fix her up if she helped me reach graduation day. She did that and more.

So you see, she was more than a car; I owe her my life... my soul. I still think of her from time to time. She made me a mustang lover for life. The sound, the power, the pure rawness of it.

Hence, this site is dedicated to her... linda... my first true love... retired in Jersey somewhere. So email me pics and history of your ponies, I can post her/him up. Let's honor that rumble!
